ABILITIES

☆ Flight - Labrys can fly without any visible means of propulsion or outside influence. ☆ Ribbon Generation - Labrys can summon and control extremely durable red ribbons and control them to some degree. She can use them to bind things, tie them to things or even just use them as a distraction. ☆ Weapon Summon (Axe) - Labrys can summon a... well, a labrys, a weighty two-headed axe. It greatly resembles the weapon Berry crafted for her. ☆ Enhanced Strength - Labrys' strength greatly exceeds that of a regular Gem. ☆ Persona Summon (Ariadne) - Labrys can summon her Persona, Ariadne, at will and outside of the environment of the TV World. ☆  Fusion ☆

Padparadscha Sapphire (Yu Narukami)

Labrys' first fusion, performed with Yu as a response to Zultanite. An extremely harmonious fusion, thanks to their already tight bond and mutual trust.

Appearance: A female presenting and identifying fusion, Padparadscha is mostly humanoid in appearance, save for her multiple limbs -- she has four arms, two organic and two robotic with her body following suit and being made of metal. She wears the female Yasogami High School summer uniform with the black jacket of the male Winter Uniform over it.

Her hair is a grayish-silver, and twisted into two extremely thick long braids that hang down her back with her face framed by Labrys' bangs. Her face resembles a more neutral melding of Yu and Labrys' features so basically she is extremely pretty.

She carries a distinctive weapon, an enormous two-handed sword that must be handled more akin to an axe due to its size. Because it's so wide, it can be used as a shield as well as a sword.

Notably, she also has Labrys' distinctive accent when she speaks.

Personality: Padparadcha is at once extremely calm and relaxed and excitable and childish. Due to being formed by a pair of Gems who are extremely relaxed in each others company, she has a fairly steady emotional baseline to work off of. But because both of her original Gems are still eager to see and experience more of the world, this quiet excitement carries over to her, as well.

This can lead her to be self-indulgent, both physically and emotionally -- she will stuff herself with sweets and lounge on the beach then go and be rude to Adachi people she dislikes as the mood strikes her. She wants to load up on as many experiences before she unfuses and share those experiences with the Gems she started as.

Gem: Named for their resemblance to lotus blossoms, padparadschas are a rare and highly sought-after variation of sapphires.

Padparadschas bring the wisdom of loving creation from the heart to the world. Their joyful orange energies activate the Sacral Chakra, the seat of one’s sexual energy and the fountain of creativity. They align the will to create with the heart, encouraging one to revel in life’s sensory experiences and in the expression of ideas and artistic truths.

Cubic Zirconia (Tohru Adachi)

Initially performed with Adachi in the aftermath of Zultanite, the fusion's first appearance lasted only a few seconds before being forcibly broken apart by Adachi.

Appearance: Zirconia's body is primarily mechanical, modelled after that of an Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon with a much more androgynous form. While the majority of the fusion's body is mechanical, taking its cue from Labrys, their face and human features seem to come directly from Adachi, having both his facial features and hair.

The differences in appearance seem to be mostly minor aesthetic ones. There is a dusting of freckles across Zirconia's nose and their eyebrows are noticeably thicker than Labrys or Adachi's.

Gem: Cubic Zirconias are synthetic diamonds, prized for their clarity and are said to be virtually flawless, compared to other similarly synthesized stones.

Zirconias are thought to promote spirituality, self-confidence, and physical strength and victory. They are also said to be useful in driving away depression and promoting receptivity and spirituality.
